Toni Cameron, CPA built a nationally recognised accounting brand for therapy practice owners. A 150-client waitlist. A top-of-Google presence. Then she sold the firm. Here is how we did it.

Working with Markology before exit
Toni Cameron, CPA, partnered with Markology in 2020 with one goal: turn TL;DR: Accounting into a nationally recognised brand for therapy practice owners, with the potential for a future sale.
Over the next three years, we focused on everything it takes to build a firm that attracts the right leads on autopilot. Website redesign. Weekly content. National SEO. Lead nurture funnels. YouTube. The entire Markology playbook.
The result: over 1200% traffic growth, a 150-client waitlist, and a firm that commanded serious buyer interest when Toni decided it was time to exit.
When TL;DR: Accounting came to us, their website was a standard accounting firm site. No flair, no targeting. We redesigned it from scratch with conversion-focused messaging aimed directly at therapy practice owners. Every page, every word, engineered to turn visitors into enquiries.
The redesigned site became one of the biggest selling points when buyers evaluated the firm.
Toni knew the biggest investment she could make was SEO. Showing up at the top of Google meant her ideal leads would find TL;DR: Accounting before anyone else. We delivered. The firm ranked at the top for “accountant for therapists” and “Seattle business accountants”: keywords it still holds today.
Thousands of free, targeted clicks every month. And a top-of-Google presence that became a concrete asset when it came time to close on the company.
The firm still ranks at the top for its most valuable keywords: years after we built the strategy.
This is the step most accounting firms skip. You need consistent content to cut through the noise on Google and AI search. We created at least one blog post and one video every week for TL;DR: Accounting, and posted on social media channels four to five times per week.
Combined with Toni’s own networking in therapy community groups, the content engine built national brand recognition that extended far beyond Seattle.
Consistent weekly content is what separates firms that grow from firms that plateau.

Traffic is nothing without a system to convert it. We built a collection of lead magnets: calculators, on-demand webinars, downloadable guides, and YouTube videos. After capture, automated funnels in ConvertKit graded leads by priority and nurtured them through targeted email journeys until they were ready to book a consultation.
Toni and her team took care of the rest. The result was a 150-client waitlist that made the firm an attractive acquisition target.
A 150-client waitlist is not luck. It is what happens when you build the full system.
